Go to the Teammates for kids Web site Garth Brooks, internationally acclaimed recording artist, and part-time professional baseball player is the co-founder and chairman of the Teammates For Kids Foundation. The purpose of Teammates For Kids is to contribute financially to selected non-profit organizations that effectively serve and benefit children, with an emphasis on health, education and inner city needs.

The Foundation enlists the participation of Major League Baseball and National Hockey League players who contribute a predetermined sum based upon selected categories of on-field and on-ice performance. Each of the over 400 participating players has a celebrity sponsor that matches their contribution. Thanks to the generous support of these professional athletes, celebrities and Crown Council dentists, needy children have something to smile about.

100% of player, celebrity, business partner and Smiles for Life contributions will go directly to effective children's charities and organizations.
